My dears,

I'm sick again, tired, at times melancholy and trying to write a new tale.

But at a sick day maybe we just have to fall in our bed, nestle down in our big pillow and let the head do whatever it wants. Maybe it builds a new adventure up for us. We could have a dance with Cary Grant in Nizza. Visit Africa with Diane Fossey. Searching for Blackbeards' treasure. Do a shopping tour with Holly Golightly. Or just drink a cup of tea at the Mad Hatters' place.

Good morning my dears!

The last nights I slept really bad and had many weird dreams. The result of days watching movies and reading a lot. Yesterday I began to start a notebook about future plans. For years my friend and I think about having a cafè with a integrated shop of my fashion. Organic food, a lot of wooden and vintage furniture, a reading place with bookshelves, upstairs a fashion shop and always flavor of hot chocolate and fresh bread in the air. Sounds wonderful, hm?! I posted some pictures of favourite cafès. And the last one is a shop called "Do" in Madrid. I love, love, love this bright and wooden design.

I hope, you have great plans for your weekend! Here it's time for carneval, which is not part of my favourite events in cologne. So, good time for working.

Every year I forgot how cold february especially is. The sun comes out just for 15 min a day (when it comes out at all). It's a great month to work a lot at home, where it's warm and cozy. 

This morning I had to wake up very early to take a walk with a dog, that will stay at my place for the next five days, and it was so cold, but so beautiful. Little snowflakes were falling around and put a spell on the world with some sunshine. A great month to work on new fairytales and stories.

Movie: A few years ago I watched this fantastic movie and fall in love with all the characters, the story, the soundtrack and the costumes.

 Design : I discovered the fabulous design of Margeret Howell. It's a great mix of chic british and cozy seaman style.

Magazine : Unfortunately it's really hard to find this cute magazine in our country. But already the page is able to sweeten the whole day.

 

Cake : A new delicious recipe from emily for consoling, smiling and just closing the eyes and say: hmmm...

Song : Some music for beeing nostalgic, thoughtful or dreamful. Just try and figure it out.

Book : I bought this book a few days ago and love it. When I was 14 I fell in love with Allendes' books. All these strong women, who find their ways and never give up, impressed me so much.

My dears,

today I printed the photos for my file and I'm really satisfied. And finally I could find black India Ink, which was not that expensive like in the little stores around. It looks so pretty <3 

Besides I thought about the new collection and hope, it can be done in space of two months. I have to hurry up with it. Unfortunately I'm always too late in sewing new collections. Well, I'll become better..
